Richard Alan Eagle began teaching classes on the Mayan Calendar in 1989, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In 1992, he wrote a monthly column on the Mayan Calendar for the magazine "Sedona Journal Of Emergence" while traveling America teaching classes on the late Dr. Josě Argϋelles Mayan Calendar boardgame kit DREAMSPELL.
Dr. Argϋelles, author of the 1987 book THE MAYAN FACTOR: PATH BEYOND TECHNOLOGY, named Richard his "best student."
In 1996, he published his book, THE MAYAN CALENDAR GUIDEBOOK.
Also in 1996, the internationally syndicated daily American television show STRANGE UNIVERSE ran a news story on the book.
In November 2009, Richard was interviewed on COAST TO COAST AM, the biggest late night radio show in the world, by host George Noory and Dr. William J. Birnes, for discovering "Stonehenge of America," a Stonehenge-like natural rock amphitheater formation Blue Mounds State Park, Minnesota, in 1990.
Richard is the author of: THE MAYAN CALENDAR GUIDEBOOK (1996]; the e-book, STONEHENGE OF AMERICA: BLUE MOUNDS STATE PARK (2015); his book/screenplay, MERRY HUNTERS CLUB (2015); and poetry, CASH ACTION: THE GREAT AMERICAN GAME (1984).
His WORK experience includes: Time Management expert, 1985-present; teaching Mayan Calendar seminars, 1989-present; on-site Manager of the Wildflower Inn and Kokopelli Days Inn hotels in Sedona, Arizona; graphic designer and magazine editor for Starfie Sedona; wilderness tour guide for Sedona Adventures; General Manager for two health foods stores, Living Naturally, in Ohio, 2000-2010; Owner of the retail health goods store Save Your Health Now, Sedona, 2012.
His HOBBIES include: playing the maracas, singing, creating mixed media acrylic paintings, predictive systems analysis, photography, screenplay writing, writing poetry, stand-up comedy and publishing his physics research into high energy plasma fields.
